In the course of his life, dreams and dreams are often difficult to distinguish. But for Barkah Tri Basuki, that dream came true. From his determination, it was born Berkah Subur Institute (BSI), an organization that promises great benefits for Muslims through international programs Agribusiness Tahfidz (IAT).
BSI, abbreviation of Berkah Subur Institute, is not just a name. More than that, BSI brings inspiring stories from two important figures; the founder, Barkah Tri Basuki, and also his late mother, Subur Supriati. Embedded in this name are stories of struggle, loyalty and sacrifice that have formed a strong foundation for BSI's existence. Barkah Tri Basuki, gave birth to BSI as a real form of his dream and respect for his mother. He not only wants to create an organization, but also wants to honor and repay the debt of gratitude and material things to his beloved mother, Subur Supriati, who has given everything in raising and guiding him.
Apart from that, the background to having a dream of establishing BSI was because he was concerned about the current education system in Indonesia. Basically, the education system in Indonesia is considered ineffective in teaching religious knowledge and competencies to the younger generation. Moreover, this system is often considered too formal and rigid, without providing room for creativity and innovation. This creates a mismatch between the formal education curriculum and the increasingly complex needs of the world of work.
Not only that, formal education in Indonesia takes quite a long time, without providing adequate guarantees of work ability. The problem becomes more complex when education is considered to have become a commercial industry that has moved away from its initial goals. Education, which should be an investment in the nation's future, is now often seen as a mere source of profit, without paying attention to the quality and goals of educating the nation's next generation.
From a global perspective, Indonesia needs to improve the quality of its education so that it can compete with developed countries. Education is not only about producing a generation that is able to follow the curriculum, but also about creating individuals who are creative, innovative and have competence who are able to compete at the global level. Therefore, change and innovation in the education system is a necessity for Indonesia's future progress.
Why BSI?
The importance of quality education and the need for a balance between religious knowledge, competence and entrepreneurship became the basis for establishing BSI. BSI was born as a response to concerns about the education system in Indonesia which was considered less effective and too formal. In the midst of continuously developing social dynamics, BSI emphasizes the importance of paying attention to spiritual, competency and entrepreneurial aspects in education.
Formal education that takes 18 years does not guarantee job readiness in the increasingly complex modern era. Meanwhile, he dreams of becoming an entrepreneur or memorizer Alqur'an often ignored in the existing education system. BSI is here to change this paradigm by providing education that not only prioritizes academic aspects, but also spiritual, entrepreneurial and competency.
BSI is committed to creating education that is in accordance with religious guidance, producing individuals who are competent, have good morals and are ready to compete in the world of work. Through a holistic and inclusive approach, BSI prepares the young generation to become leaders with integrity, broad insight, and able to contribute positively to society and the nation.
BSI Vision and Mission
BSI's vision is “Creating Santri-Ecopreneurs for Better Indonesia”, a big challenge that is realized through the various missions carried out.
BSI's mission includes programs Super Internship Plus which aims to produce "Young Entrepreneurs" who not only have business skills, but also have morals, competence and digital insight. Thus, BSI not only produces individuals who are materially successful, but also have high moral integrity and can adapt to technological changes. BSI House is expected to become an effective informal school, providing a fun and inspiring learning environment for students. In it, the values of Islamic Sharia principles are the main foundation in every aspect of life, forming strong character and noble morals.
Apart from that, BSI House is expected to create an ecosystem that supports the principles of Islamic Sharia in various aspects of social and economic life. By involving the surrounding community, BSI strives to provide sustainable social and economic benefits for the environment, empowering the community to improve shared prosperity. More than that, BSI is also committed to increasing the Human Development Index (HDI) in the surrounding environment. Through quality education oriented towards developing individual potential, BSI aims to improve the quality of life and standard of living of society as a whole.
BSI House wants to create a National Sharia Tourism Village by driving the creative economy sector around it. Apart from being a business incubator, BSI House also aims to be a moral incubator which can become an opportunity to attract religious tourism. In the next four years, BSI House hopes to build 20 houses and graduate 200 Santri-Ecopreneurs every year.
BSI House; "Home of Study" of true Muslim leaders
BSI House is here as a "Learning House" for memorizers Alqur'an and the younger generation who want to become true Muslim leaders and entrepreneurs. With an inclusive approach, BSI House combines religion and business, serves the community, and forms students with high integrity and concern for goodness in accordance with the guidance of Alqur'an and As-Sunnah. As a magnet for goodness for every person and their religion, BSI House provides great benefits for this country.
The BSI house will be built as the first pilot project in the Pandau Permai housing complex, Kampar, Riau. The choice of this location is not coincidental, considering that this housing complex has strategic accessibility, complete public facilities and good cleanliness. Seeing that there are still many empty houses that are for sale, it is hoped that the construction of the BSI House will be a unique, educational and beneficial attraction for the residents of Perum Pandau Permai and its surroundings.

BSI House is a boarding house or ordinary house equipped with a meeting room and kitchen designed like a coffee shop. Standing on an area of 200-350 square meters, this two-story house has five rooms for ten students to live in. With an environmentally friendly design and a green fence around it, BSI House feels like a villa or cottage in the middle of a residential complex. The function of the meeting room is as a place to study, while the kitchen, like the coffee shop, is to serve students' parents, teachers, ustadz and local community leaders. The BSI house will be equipped with business facilities such as fish farming, making fish floss, smoked fish, etc.
Direct benefits for students and the community
BSI House seeks to become a pilot project for the transformation of informal education in Indonesia, prioritizing guidance Alqur'an and As-Sunnah. With a curriculum model Super Internship Plus (SIP), a unique curriculum specifically designed for one year for BSI House students who wish to develop business and leadership skills.
In SIP, there are several curriculum models offered, such as Duta Santri which aims to create students who memorize Alqur'an and Hadits with good manners and morals, able to practice their knowledge directly to the community. Apart from that, there are Environmental Ambassadors who are pioneers of environmental awareness by managing plastic waste into creative products and providing a curriculum on waste management to students.
There is also a Food Ambassador program which teaches students to grow crops and garden as an effort to protect the earth. This program not only has an economic and social impact, but also supports family food security and reduces the impact of carbon emissions. Furthermore, there are Sports Ambassadors who integrate sports as a means of building the environment. The aim of this program is to build public facilities for sports, as well as reduce the younger generation's dependence on gadgets and online games.
Lastly, the Traffic Ambassador program is present as an effort to overcome the lack of awareness of the younger generation in traffic. It is hoped that the curriculum on correct driving can help the government reduce the number of accidents and create social harmony in society.
Maximize time; study and do business at BSI home
At BSI House, students are not only invited to deepen their knowledge of religion, but also to develop business and leadership skills through the Super Internship Plus program. This program allows them to divide their time between study and business in a balanced and integrated way. Through practical learning, students not only understand business theory, but also apply it directly in various business activities carried out in the BSI House environment.
Apart from being involved in business activities, students are also encouraged to make positive contributions to the surrounding community. They are active in providing assistance, such as teaching lessons from Alqur'an, Hadits and general lessons to children in housing complexes, as well as working together in community environmental health programs. In this way, they not only learn to develop themselves, but also learn to become caring and responsible members of society.
The business and community service activities carried out by the students do not stand alone, but are an integral part of the BSI Home education curriculum. Students are also required to collaborate in business activity programs, build teamwork, and develop leadership skills. In this way, they not only become experts in academic fields, but also have the social and leadership skills needed to be successful in social life and business.

Sources of funding
BSI House's funding sources are very important to support the operations and development of its programs. Primarily, BSI House is funded by PT Banglele Indonesia Maju as part of the program Community Development there. The contribution from PT Banglele Indonesia Maju is the main pillar in carrying out BSI House activities, covering the costs of infrastructure development, daily operations, as well as the development of the educational and business programs offered.
Apart from the contribution from PT Banglele Indonesia Maju, voluntary support from individuals and institutions is also a very significant source of additional funding. Through the matching fund program, individuals and institutions can participate in supporting BSI House. This allows wider participation from the community and increases funding potential to support various BSI House programs and initiatives.
Not only that, BSI House also opens up opportunities for participation from the international community through their support. Through various donation and sponsorship mechanisms, the international community can be involved in supporting BSI House's activities and programs, both through financial contributions and various other forms of support.
